Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2026.
This privacy policy (the “Policy”) explains how personal information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use the website at landilla.com (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Multistate Land Investments, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, doing business as Landilla (“Landilla,” “we,” or “us”). The Site is a placeholder maintained primarily so existing customers can reach us and make one-time payments toward outstanding loans. We do not actively market new services through the Site.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent change. Your continued use of the Site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
1. What Is Personal Information?
“Personal information” means information that identifies an individual — for example, name, address, telephone number, or email address — or that is linked to such identifying information. “Aggregate” information — data about Site usage from which individual identities have been removed — is not personal information, and nothing in this Policy restricts our collection or use of aggregate information.
2. What Personal Information Do We Collect?
Because the Site is a placeholder, we collect only what is necessary for the limited functions it offers:
- When you contact us (by email, phone, or by submitting our contact form, if any): your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.
- When you make a one-time payment: your name, billing address, email, phone number, parcel number(s), and the amount you choose to pay. Card data is collected directly by our payment processor (see Section 4) and is not stored on our systems.
- Automatically, when you visit the Site: standard server log information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the page you came from, and the pages you view. This information is used in aggregate.
The Site does not currently use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. Our payment processor may set cookies on its own checkout pages; those cookies are governed by its privacy policy.
3. How Do We Use Personal Information?
We use the personal information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide customer service;
- process the one-time payments you initiate and apply them to your account;
- maintain records of customer communications and transactions;
- operate, maintain, and secure the Site; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use personal information to send marketing or promotional communications.
4. Sharing of Personal Information
We share personal information only as follows:
- Payment processor. One-time payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you submit a payment, the form data you enter is sent to Stripe to create a checkout session, and you are then redirected to Stripe’s hosted payment page to enter your card details. Stripe’s handling of your information is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- Email and hosting providers. We use Google Workspace for email and Cloudflare for Site hosting and DNS. These providers process limited information (such as email contents and IP addresses) on our behalf to deliver their services.
- Affiliates. We may share personal information with companies under common ownership with Landilla, who must use it consistently with this Policy.
- Legal compliance and protection. We may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, by legal process, or is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Landilla, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Landilla is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Marketing Opt-Out
We do not currently send marketing emails. If that changes, you may opt out at any time by emailing sales@landilla.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop service-related communications — for example, replies to your inquiries or payment receipts.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access — including HTTPS for all Site traffic and using a PCI-compliant third-party processor (Stripe) for card data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at sales@landilla.com so we can delete it.
8. Your Choices
If you wish to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or if you have any questions about this Policy, please email sales@landilla.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and to the extent required by applicable law.
